Who knew that inverting two words would be something so coherent with changing a culture and also its meaning. Contrary to what proposes the Brazilian expression which says to carry life “on the recorder” (meaning the same as "coasting through the life") and also contradicting the proud hard working recorder players - to live 'on and for' the recorder, means to fight for one's beliefs, for Art, for Music, for the Beauty, for the Truth that comes from simplicity without artifice, what is sublime and powerful.
This is the life that I take, and that I invite you to join me.

And they were the ones that I sought throughout my career.
The Recorder is my partner, and it brought me the certainty that the right way is the one we do for those, or for the benefit of those we love, and what we believe as Truth and Beauty for the world.

“Renata is known worldwide for her work as a recorder player and as a recorder teacher, but there is much more about her that few people know.
Born on February 19th, 1983, at 3:15 pm in the South of Brazil. The youngest child that behaves as the eldest. Baby face; baroque soul. She has always been an ambassador for truth and justice. Nerd at school, class representative throughout school (even when she did not apply for the position).
Passionate about music. Some of her main loves are: recorder; chocolate; wine; cheese; travel; her students (not necessarily in this order).
As a teacher, she teaches through her good example and does everything to see her students smile, has a predisposition to help them, whether by listening, advising, understanding them in the way they would always like to be understood, and always balancing affection and patience.
A gnome of shoes from the children's session and a world size heart; a walking colorful lollipop that makes you want to be the best version of yourself; an 'Extraterrestrial with OCD' and who wakes up early already singing. A box full of quotes and lyrics, with the best stories to tell and an infinite memory. A multidimensional person, in other words, monotony is the last thing you can have around her. Every moment is a new discovery.
She never leaves anything to be desired, much less stops surprising you. She is definitely one of the funniest and most amazing human beings who you can meet.
